UPDATE: 1/8/14 - Pete has left the building! Pete went to a foster home today. He will soon be available to adopt through St. Francis Animal Protection Society.
Pete is tall, dark and handsome gentleman ready to sweep you off your feet. But - he needs your help to save his life.
Pete will be euthanized if a temporary or permanent home is not found in the next few days.
Pete enjoys going on walks and playing with other dogs. He is also content to relax on his bed or in the crate with a good bone.
He's a quick study on training, too: he already knows sit, down and is learning to shake and roll over. Since he is food motivated he'll be eager to pick up new tricks and it's a great way to bond with him.

We think he is part Great Dane and Labrador and about 1.5 years old.
Pete has a laid back vibe and is looking for a family to match.
