Many of the animals we network are brought to the shelter as strays. Often their history is unknown. Unless the previous owner has provided information on the animal they are surrendering, we will not know much, if anything about their background. One of the responsibilities of being a foster parent is to demystify these pets. You get to learn about their personality, their likes and dislikes so that he or she may be better matched with the right forever home.
