UPDATE: 9/30/14 - We have good news and sad news. Lil Chester's quality of life was so poor it warranted him being humanly euthanized. RIP Chester.

There are three Chihuahuas at the San Jose shelter who need your help. We are seeking sponsoring rescue organizations and foster homes for these little ones.
Their favorite place - a lap Cookie and Sweetie are a bonded pair of lap dogs and shelter staff favorites. Both girls are stressed in the noisy environment and have a case of kennel cough. Kennel cough is easily treated with some medication and time to destress.
Cookie, the tan girl is 7 years old and needs to loose a few pounds. Her mother, Sweetie is 9 years old and is more confident and outgoing.

Lil Chester Chester* is a long haired Chi who is about 12 years old. This 5 pound boy was hit by a car and will need quiet cage rest to recover.
