She must think she has been forgotten. Her only human contact is when the shelter staff brings her food and water or cleans her litter box. She has no access to the wonderful shelter cat volunteers. No playtime with the feather toy. No loving pets or kind words. She has no name and no home.
Why is she living this bleak existence? She has an upper respiratory infection which is a common kitty cold. Cats under stress in a scary shelter environment often become ill. We've seen it time and time again: once they get into a caring and comfy home, they recover fast!
Want to show her that she has not been forgotten? Give her a temporary or permanent home! Fill out our foster application here. Got questions? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
And, she needs a name! Got any suggestions?
