UPDATE - 7/29/13: Moses is doing fantastic in his foster home. His 'person' is a teenage boy who is giving Moses what he needs the most: love and security!
UPDATE - We are doing a HAPPY DANCE and chasing our tails! Another same day update to share: Moses has a foster home! We will update his status soon.
How can you resist this gorgeous face? Moses* and his sister were found wandering as scared strays in the Evergreen area during the recent heat wave. Sadly, his sister succumbed to heat exhaustion and died. He stayed by her side until he was captured by Animal Control and taken to the San Jose shelter.
Such a pretty poser Moses is a yellow Labrador Retriever/Husky mix with ice blue eyes. He's young - only a year old. He's absolutely traumatized in the shelter and needs a safe and caring foster home to recover from his agonizing experiences on the streets.
Let's Rescue Moses! If you can help us save this beautiful boy by providing a temporary or permanent home, please fill out our application here. We need to get him out of the shelter ASAP!
*We named Moses after the good Samaritan who contacted Animal Control to help him.
