UPDATE - 6/12/13 We are delighted to report that Manny was rescued! He will be available for adoption soon. I need a home!
This large, friendly tabby boy needs a foster home today! His time in the San Jose shelter is almost up.
Manny is a 'man made Manx' - his tail had an infected wound and needed to be amputated. It has healed up and now he needs a home immediately.
If you can provide a temporary or permanent home for this young sweet cat, please email us NOW at email@example.com
as Manny needs to be rescued immediately
Please help us save this beautiful boy!
UPDATE: 5/16/13 - Rasta was resuced! He was pulled by the Humane Society of Silicon Valley and will be up for adoption soon. Rasta wants to get out of the shelter
Rasta means 'truth' in Persian. The truth is this innocent boy is the victim of divorce - not once but TWICE!
Rasta is a gorgeous blue, merle and tan Australian Cattle dog mix. We've heard he is great with kids and lived with cats. He's about six years old.
He was surrendered, reclaimed and then surrendered again to the San Jose shelter. He is very upset to be in a noisy kennel and needs a foster home immediately
. Please contact us if you are interested in giving this boy a temporary or permanent home. Email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please share him with your social networks.
UPDATE: 6/3/13 - Miss Daisy was adopted at Maddie's Pet Adoption Days!
UPDATE: 5/17/13 - Woo Hoo! Maddy was rescued yesterday by the Human Society of Silicon Valley! Dumboo, now Daisy, is in a wonderful foster home. Miss Dumboo
Daisy is available for adoption through St. Francis Animal Protection Society
You've heard of pocket pets? We think Dumboo is a pocket Labrador. She's a Dachshund, Labrador retriever mix about a year and a half old and weighs about 15-20 lbs. Miss Maddy
She and her pal, Maddy were surrendered to the San Jose shelter together. These two young girls are terrified in the shelter environment and do not show well in their kennels. However, when they are taken to the play area, they become different dogs! They relax and transform into curious, happy puppies. They are especially attached to one of the staff, Kelly and love to perch in her lap.
Maddy is a female Chihuahua mix about two years old.
Dumboo and Maddy need foster homes immediately
and would love to be kept together if possible. We know once they are out of the shelter, their personalities will continue to blossom.
If you are interested in fostering one or both of these girls,
please contact us at: email@example.com

Sammy and Siemen are two senior kitties who were owner surrendered to the San Jose shelter. They need a foster home immediately
as they only have a short time left.
Sammy is a big bundle of love at twenty pounds and has an outgoing friendly personality. Although Siemen is a little on the shy side, he is also a sweetie and likes to carry on conversations with you. He's a bit unsettled in the shelter environment.
Both cats are declawed in the front and must be kept indoors.

Female Maltese mix
Male Maltese mix
This senior Maltese mix couple need a patient, loving foster home immediately. They are very frightened in the chaotic and noisy shelter environment. They were found on the streets as overheated, matted messes. They look like different dogs now! Below are their before shots prior to the San Jose shelter staff grooming them: I missed you so much!
These two got to spend time together today and enjoyed being with each other again. The female kissed her boyfriend's face all over! Clearly they are bonded pair and need to be kept together.
Both dogs are senior but the male seems the younger of the two. Both have cataracts and the female may be partially blind. If you are interested in fostering this sweet pair, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
UPDATE: 6/2/13 - Missy, now know as Mindy, was adopted at Maddie's Pet Adoption Days! Have a wonderful life Missy!
Missy is a gorgeous two year old Boxer/Pittie mix located at the San Jose shelter. We are urgently seeking a foster home to get her out.
We've heard that she has a wonderful personality and is great with kids! She's rather confused to find herself at the shelter. This darling dog loves to go on walks and also enjoys snuggling in your lap, giving kisses and nose presses.
Can you help us save this beautiful, young girl! If so, please email: email@example.com
. Please share her with your social network!
UPDATE: 5/17/13 - Happy day in South San Jose! Sean Jr. was adopted by a wonderful lady named Marilyn this afternoon. He will live out his golden years in luxury with love. Smilin' Sean Jr!
Can you believe Sean Jr's people gave him up at 15 years of age? Luckily he's in a comfortable foster home looking for his furever home.
Sean is a 50 pound, yellow Labrador Retriever. He's a mellow boy who gets excited to chase tennis balls. He's a breeze to walk around the block, too! If you drop the leash, he follows you. . . unless there's an interesting smell to investigate. Possessing perfect house manners, Sean can be left to roam free when you are out. You will find him sleeping at the door waiting for your return. He currently lives with two large crazy teenage Labs and gets along great with them.
Sean recently had a dental, is up to date on vaccines, is neutered and heart worm negative. Recent lab work and x-rays show a healthy dog. He's on Tramadol for his achy joints and Melatonin to keep his body in rhythm.
Sean is a super sweet senior seeking his furever home! Interested? Contact Deanna @ firstname.lastname@example.org
. Sean is sponsored through Muttville Rescue
and fostered in San Jose.
